One dead and one injured in Oakland.
One person is dead and another is in critical condition after two separate shootings in Oakland on Saturday.
The first shooting was reported by a caller near Edes Avenue and Hegenberger Road. There was a man at the scene with a gunshot wound. He is in a critical condition after being taken to a local hospital.

The second shooting took place on the 1600 block of 35th Avenue. Police began life saving measures after they found a gunshot victim. The victim was taken to the hospital where they died of their injuries.
